Heart Whispers

Slowly, softly, ever so gently...

The voice is there in each of us, it is whispering to us but listen to that inner voice. We are living in a world that filled with noise…..perhaps it's time to turn the radio off, throw away the remote control, turn the cell phone off, logoff the computer. Only then will we find silence and the solitude that our heart craves.

Serenity is not a place, not a thing, not a person....but a state of mind. It is a contentment that surpasses human understanding. A calmness when all the world is falling down around you.
We all know about heartbreaks, everyone has experienced the loss of a loved one or a relationship that had its problems. Heartaches happen to anyone who is normal. It is hard to explain the feeling that accompanies heartaches but we know how it feels. The heart truly feels, knows, and it speaks to us if we will but listen. We have all heard the saying, “Follow your Heart...” but when was the last time we listened to what our heart is saying.

Slowly, softly, ever so gently your heart whispers to you. It says, care much, love deep, be passionate about life and living. Make each and every moment be the most important moment of your life. For in reality, it is the only time we have. The past is gone and the future is yet to be, all we have is now. LIVE!!!!!

As you think.....

Listening to that Inner Voice...

The inner voice has so much impact....more than we may realize. Individuals choose their own thoughts. No one can make us think, feel, or believe anything unless we choose to allow it. It is good to have a filter in place to filter out the unwanted and unnecessary thoughts.

Here are some affirmations that you can integrate into your thinking:

Happiness is a result of a decision to be happy.

A person's emotions and feelings are created by their thoughts.

If you pay attention to the darkness, you'll never find the light.

With each approaching moment gives us the opportunity to choose happiness.

There is only Today.

Benjamin Franklin wrote: “Work while it is called today, for you know not how much you may be hindered tomorrow. One today is worth two tomorrows; never leave until tomorrow that which you can do today.” To love, to laugh, to forgive, to help.... Whatever it is.....DO IT TODAY!
